Menges Roller Co., Wauconda, Ill., has added its fourth CNC center in as many years with the purchase of a three-axis center from DMG Mori. A Tokyo-based company, DMG Mori has its American headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Ill. Menges makes a variety of products, including heat transfer rolls, chill rolls, nip rollers, chillers and heaing units.
Company President Matt Menges said the CNC machines are necessary to keep up with the company's growing backlog.
