Absolute Group of Companies, Worcester, Mass., is planning an expansion at its headquarters there to complement an existing structure.
One of the owners of the company, Nate Smith, says the expansion is born out of some internal growth and it will result in an infrastructure enhancement, which the company does on a regular basis. The group, which includes injection molding machinery maker Absolute Haitian Corp., operates two 25,000-square foot facilities on its current property. It is acquiring 28,266 square feet of additional land.
"One of the facilities was adjacent to the property so naturally we wanted to protect our footprint. We've continued to invest and reinvest in the operations, people and technology to, frankly, make us a strong player in a competitive marketplace," he says. "This is for the Absolute Group of Companies to support national and international business that we have throughout the world."
