Cold Jet LLC, Loveland, Ohio, which makes dry ice blasting machinery and equipment, has acquired IceTech A/S, Bramming, Denmark, also a maker of dry ice blasting machinery.
IceTech has an established, global customer base that will allow Cold Jet to increase its global presence. IceTech was founded in 1998. Last year, it introduced its Evolution line of multipower dry ice blasting machines. Cold Jet launched an enhanced Aero Series in 2015 with improvements in the feeding technology.
The combined companies have facilities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Spain, Japan and China. The acquisition closed on Jan. 13 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
