Processing Technologies International LLC, also known as PTi, has announced that it is investing in a $10 million expansion of its Aurora, Ill., headquarters. The company will add 40,000 square feet of space, nearly doubling its capacity for building sheet extrusion machinery, and add 20,000 square feet for offices. The expansion includes a 15,000-square-foot Technology Development Center for R&D and process trials for customers on product-scale systems.
Groundbreaking is slated for March, with construction expected to be finished by October.
