A testing service that serves as a double check for laboratories in factories is accepting subscriptions now from companies interested in receiving plastic film samples this year.
Global standards development organization ASTM International, West Conshohocken, Pa., will charge $695 for companies to receive samples for its testing periods in March and September. With the subscription, companies will receive film samples measuring about 50-feet-by-1-foot wide, which they can use to test parameters such as strength, thickness and haze.
