Joseph Divito, who had spent about 40 years in plastics machinery sales, has died.
Comet Automation Systems founder Tom Rajkovich says he first met Divito when the two worked together in the 1970s at Van Dorn Plastic Machinery Co.; they later worked together for a couple years as partners at JTJ Sales, Euclid, Ohio.
Most recently, Divito had worked as a sales manager for Budzar Industries, Willoughby, Ohio, says friend Kevin Chudyk. Chudyk, a sales manager for ShiniUSA, Willoughby, calls Divito "super nice."
"He was a good salesman," Rajkovich recalls. An avid golfer, Divito was "a fun-loving guy," Rajkovich says.
