Maxcess sells REM line
Maxcess International Inc., Oklahoma City, which provides products and services for the web-handling industry, has sold its REM manufacturing line to Associated Machine Design Inc., Green Bay, Wis.
Associated Machine Design, which makes equipment for the paper, tissue and nonwoven-materials markets, now will handle all service and sales inquiries involving the REM line of slitter rewinder systems. Webex Inc., a Maxcess subsidiary based in Neenah, Wis., had owned the line since 2010, when it purchased REM Manufacturing, Hackettstown, N.J.
