Battenfeld-Cincinnati undertakes realignment

Oct. 20, 2015

Battenfeld-Cincinnati, Vienna, is moving forward with a reorganization plan it says will make it more responsive to customers' needs.

The company says it is trying to better deploy resources to improve service to customers that often have production plants around the world.

According to the plan announced in September, the structure realigns strategic and global responsibilities. The company has made a variety of personnel changes. Under CEO Gerold Schley, Michael von Cappeln has been named acting CFO, Henning Stieglitz is chief technical officer and Grant Flaharty is chief sales officer. Danny Gamez will head the local production center in the U.S. Other regional managers include Toni Bernards in China, Dirk Eikmeyer in Germany and von Cappeln in Austria. Regional sales directors will oversee the sales network in the company's major divisions of America, Europe, Africa, the Near Middle East and Asia.
