Illig Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, Heilbronn, Germany, has hired a new managing director of technology.
On Oct. 1, Heinrich Sielemann took over for Wolfgang Illig, who had served in the position for more than three decades. Karl Schäuble remains the managing director for the company's commercial affairs.
Sielemann has held management roles in machinery and plant engineering companies with a focus on the food industry. Most recently, he was the managing director of two subsidiaries of an international mechanical engineering company that manufactures filling machines and complete lines for the food industry.
