Injection molding machine supplier Wittmann Battenfeld GmbH, Kottingbrunn, Austria, has opened a new sales and service subsidiary in Budaörs, Hungary.
The subsidiary is near Budapest, the country's capital, which is centrally located for Hungarian customers who were previously served by sales and service operations of Wittmann's Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary, production plant.
Zsolt Rapolti, who has served as a regional salesman, was promoted to managing director of the subsidiary, which has a staff of 14 handling customer support, repairs and spare parts service.
The move also allows the production plant to expand capacity to begin production of its EcoPower machine series. This is Wittmann's line of all-electric injection presses.
