Two French manufacturers with interests in the injection molding market are teaming up to offer a unified package of products.
Billion SAS, Bellignat, which makes injection molding machines, and robot maker Sepro Group, La Roche-sur-Yon, have agreed to work together to expand their global presence. According to the deal, the two will offer packages featuring Billion presses paired with robots made by Sepro and sold under the Billion name. Sepro's proprietary Visual robot-control system will be integrated into Billion's Dixit 3 injection molding machine control, providing intuitive programming of all machine functions.
"This partnership will allow us to respond to a group of processors who want to optimize their purchasing process," says Billion CEO Korbinian Kiesl. He believes the bundle might be especially attractive to manufacturers in Africa.
