FDM GmbH has moved within Germany to increase space to produce its feeders, dosing machines and materials-handling systems.
FDM's new production facility in Troisdorf boasts more than 20,400 square feet — twice as much space as its former building in Königswinter. It also provides room for growth. The move will allow FDM to reduce its lead times and handle increased volumes. With the greater space, the company hopes to be able to improve both its engineering services and systems supply.
FDM is a subsidiary of Piovan SpA, Santa Maria di Sala, Italy.
