Alliance Sensors Group, a division of H.G. Schaevitz LLC, Moorestown, N.J., has announced it will sell a line of in-cylinder linear position sensors through a distributor, Component Distributors Inc., Denver.
The in-cylinder linear variable inductive transformers (LVITs) provide position feedback for machines and are designed for the fluid power, mobile hydraulic and off-road vehicle markets. They have contactless sensors and do not require a magnet to operate.
