NPE2015: Engel creates new customer portal, smart phone app

Customers of Engel Austria GmbH, Schwertberg, Austria, can now access the firm's e-connect customer portal and smart phone app to save time and effort when requesting service or ordering spare parts.

Customers of Engel Austria GmbH, Schwertberg, Austria, can now access the firm's e-connect customer portal and smart phone app to save time and effort when requesting service or ordering spare parts. Launched at NPE, the portal allows customers to request quotes and place orders at any time online. It is not necessary to know the exact name of any parts needed; a personalized record of all Engel products the customer has received includes corresponding parts lists for easy ordering.

The phone app, available for iOS and Android phones, allows the user to send service requests to Engel from any location. The app is available in German and English.
