NPE2015: Beaumont Technologies establishes American Injection Molding Institute

Beaumont Technologies Inc., Erie, Pa., has created the American Injection Molding Institute, a comprehensive education and training organization that provides courses and programs to advance injection molding practices in the U.S., as well as a certification program for practicing plastics professionals.

Course subjects include plastics materials, mold design, processing and diagnostics.

Officials made the announcement during NPE, held March 23-27 in Orlando.

John Beaumont, president and CEO of Beaumont Technologies and a former professor at Penn State University, is leading the faculty at AIM Institute, located at the firm's headquarters. Beaumont Technologies is a supplier of hot-runner technology, mold diagnostic software, in-mold rheological control technologies and flow-analysis consulting.
