S+S Separation and Sorting Technology GmbH, Schönberg, Bavaria, has changed its name to Sesotec. The company specializes in machinery and systems for the detection and separation of contaminants, for product inspection and for the sorting of material flows.
The name change will become official at the end of March, officials said. The name change is part of the evolution of the company, which has subsidiaries in Britain, France, Italy, China, Singapore, India and the United States. The company also has a representative office in Turkey and 40 agencies all over the world.
Company officials said the Sesotec name is simpler and less confusing for employees and customers. The new name also has better search engine optimization in digital and online media, according to the company.
Sesotec has also introduced a new company logo to accompany the name change.
