Xerium Technologies Inc., Youngsville, N.C., is expanding two plants to enhance production of roll products and improve mechanical services in North America.
The Neenah, Wis., plant will broaden its product offerings with the installation of a state-of-the-art PU roll cover production cell. The Griffen, Ga., plant will expand its capabilities for industrial roll recovering and its mechanical service department.
Both facilities manufacture and repair large rolls used in the production of various products, including film, flexible packaging and non-woven fabrics. The factories also repair and service production machinery.
The expansions are scheduled to be complete by the end of the year and are expected to increase sales volumes in their respective regions.
