Injection molding machinery maker Industrias Romi SA, São Paulo, is dropping the Sandretto name from branding nearly seven years after it acquired that firm's assets.
Romi subsidiaries have adopted the parent's name, for example, Romi Machines UK.
"By adopting the Romi brand we are only reinforcing our commitment to our customers, offering technical assistance and spare parts for Sandretto machines," says Livaldo Aguiar dos Santos, the CEO of Romi.
In the North American market, Romi operates Romi Machine Tools Ltd. in Erlanger, Ky.
