Oct. 24, 2014

Industrial knives and blades maker EverSharp Knives has moved into a new 21,000-square-foot facility in Crystal Lake, Ill. Officials said the location will enhance effectiveness and productivity of the company's operations. Its customer base is expanding in North America in both the recycling and waste-to-energy markets.

EverSharp machines its knives for recycling applications on state-of-the-art CNC machinery and then the knives undergo heat treatment in its ISO-certified heat treatment unit that has atmosphere-controlled furnaces with complete automatic controls and process recording.
