3BKW55-3 Featuring a flow-optimized geometry and spiral mandrel technology, this new Bekum extrusion head has been specifically designed for processing recyclable and recycled materials, and it can make multilayer packaging with recycled core layers.  

What’s new? The extrusion head, which Bekum debuted at the K show.  

Benefits Melt homogeneity, allowing for the production of precise layer distribution and consistent wall thicknesses; and the ability to produce more-sustainable products. For simplified operation, the extrusion head has a user-friendly arrangement of mechanical adjustments. Because it can be retrofitted to work with vertical extruders, the extrusion head allows users to upgrade their machines without the need to replace entire systems. In addition, it provides simplified handling and shorter changeover times, reducing downtime and setup effort.
