R&D/Leverage’s RapidGrab bottle take-out system is designed to work with single-row, injection stretch blow molding machines from Nissei ASB Co., but potentially could be adapted by the company to similar machines from other manufacturers.
RapidGrab R&D/Leverage’s bottle take-out system is designed to work with single-row, injection stretch blow molding (ISBM) machines from Nissei ASB Co., Smyrna, Ga., but potentially could be adapted by the company to ISBM machines from other manufacturers. The take-out assembly, which is enclosed within the footprint of the machine, is lightweight and compact. R&D/Leverage can customize the take-out assembly to fit existing tooling, as well as tailor the bottle conveyor to accommodate any floor plan.

What’s new? The system, which became commercially available in the first quarter of the year.

Benefits Product quality and simple setup. RapidGrab’s zero-suction, soft-touch take-out assembly won’t damage container surfaces. The take-out assembly is easy to swap out for changes in cavitation or container shape; two people can install or remove it from the machine in five minutes. Additionally, the system’s HMI streamlines machine startup and allows users to easily configure speeds, bottle positions and safety limits.
