Blow molding conference celebrates 40 years of excellence

Dear colleagues and fellow members of the Society of Plastic Engineers’ Blow Molding Division, 

It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new chairman of SPE’s Blow Molding Division. As we embark on this exciting journey together, I am honored to lead such a distinguished group of professionals who have continuously pushed the boundaries of innovation and excellence in our field. 

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Blow Molding Division’s Annual Blow Molding Conference, a milestone that stands as a testament to the dedication, hard work and ingenuity of our members. Over the past four decades, we have witnessed remarkable advancements in blow molding technology, materials and applications. These achievements have not only transformed our industry but have also played a pivotal role in shaping the world around us. 

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, it is important to reflect on our past accomplishments while looking ahead to the future. Our division has always been at the forefront of technological progress, and I am confident we will continue to drive innovation and set new standards for excellence in the years to come. 

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the past chairs, committee members and volunteers who have contributed to the success of our division. Your unwavering commitment and passion have laid a strong foundation upon which we can build a brighter future. 

Looking forward, my vision for the Blow Molding Division is one of collaboration, growth and sustainability. By fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning, we can harness the collective expertise of our members to address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Together, we will explore new frontiers in blow molding technology, develop sustainable solutions and promote the value of our profession to the next generation of technicians and engineers. 

I am excited to work with every one of you as we continue to build on the legacy of excellence that defines our division. Let us celebrate the Annual Blow Molding Conference’s 40th anniversary with pride and enthusiasm, knowing that our best years are still ahead of us.
