Blow molding machines 1Blow’s line of stretch blow molding machines for PET encompasses several models, with outputs ranging from 1,000 to 9,000 bottles per hour. They can produce bottles in a wide range of sizes and types, including round, square, oval, asymmetrical and hot-fill.
What’s new? The company’s proprietary Sure Grip Technology for creating bottles with integrated handles. Because the handles are directly molded into the bottles, no additional plastic parts are needed, making them 100 percent recyclable. The Sure Grip Technology Kit is available on new machines, and as an upgrade for existing 1Blow machines. A bottle with a 1-gallon capacity is the largest produced so far using the kit. The Sure Grip Technology Kit brings to seven the number of technology kits the company offers on its machines. Among their capabilities are leak detection; inkjet printing; preferential and offset heating for oval and oblong bottles; and identical orientation of the bottles’ neck finishes. Each 1Blow machine can incorporate up to seven kits at the time of construction or later as a retrofit.
Benefits Recyclability. Bottles made using the technology also have optimum dimensions, material distribution, thickness and top-load strength.
