CPM Extrusion Group launches an online portal

June 14, 2018

CPM Extrusion Group, Traverse City, Mich., has launched its Extrusion Knowledge Center, an online portal interested users can use to access a library of archived training webinars.

Although CPM has been presenting free monthly twin-screw extrusion training webinars since 2013, the company now is making the training available online where more than 35 webinars can be downloaded or viewed online for a modest fee, the company said.

Topics for CPM's 2018 webinar series include Twin-Screw Extruder Barrel Temperature Control, Side Feeding Technology, Twin-Screw Extruder Shaft Design and Accuracy in Extruder Scale Up. The company will continue to offer free monthly webinars.

The Extrusion Knowledge Center is designed to provide 24/7 access to the company's learning portal for those customers who need it most, said Adam Dreiblatt, Century's director of process technology, who is leading the e-learning effort. Each webinar is broadcast three times per day to correspond with European and Asian time zones.

"There is no shortage of twin-screw compounding extruders around the world, but the training and knowledge to operate, maintain and troubleshoot is missing," he said. The Extrusion Knowledge Center can be accessed online at  www.cpmextrusiongroup.com
