WorkNC Vero's CAM software can be used to create surface or solid models in mold, die and tooling businesses for two- to five-axis CNC programming. It offers powerful, easy-to-use programming and integrated collision avoidanc
What's new? The 2017 R1 version, released a few months ago. It includes new roughing and finishing algorithms that take into account the geometry and details of the cutting tool. Other new functions include 3D Tool Compensation for three-axis and 3+2 -axis machining, and a tool library that can automatically associate the proper tool to the desired speeds and rates.
Benefits Significant reduction in machining times. The new algorithms provide greater efficiency, which increases tool life. Also, because it can be used across Vero's portfolio of products, the new tool library has improved the user-friendliness of the platform. In addition, a new feature, Dynamic Calculation Queuing, allows users to create several toolpaths one after the other and to check for eventual tool-holder collisions without having to wait until all calculations have been completed.
