H10 This machining center from Takumi is designed specifically for the mold, die and aerospace markets and is equipped with a Fanuc 31i series control. Featuring an extremely rigid double-column design, it has roller-type rails on all axes.
What's new? North American availability. Takumi introduced the H10 last month at Amerimold in Novi, Mich.
Benefits Fast speeds and high performance. Direct-coupled ball screws improve accuracy, while absolute encoders provide fast startup. With a 15,000 rpm direct-drive, in-line spindle, the H10 is suited for high-speed applications. Also, the close proximity of the spindle to the bridge casting reduces overhang and the bridge's ladder design provides greater support for the head casting.
