KCC Kautex is relaunching its KCC series of extrusion blow molding machines. The third-generation machines will include single- and double-station units with a variety of shuttle strokes. The KCC series is used for a wide range of products, including consumer and industrial packaging, and automotive parts.

What's new? Numerous upgrades, including a more compact design and greater standardization of machine modules and components. Kautex touted the first of the new machines, the model KCC20, last month at Chinaplas in Shanghai. The rest of the upgraded models will be released throughout this year. All "classic" KCC machines will be available throughout the transition.

Benefits Reduced cost, faster changeover times and easier maintenance. The use of standardized modules has reduced the price and will lead to shorter delivery times. Kautex has improved the accessibility of the machines, with side access for quicker mold changes and easier servicing.
