CHT-FS These thermocouples from the Sensor Connection, a division of Harold G. Schaevitz Industries LLC, Moorestown, N.J., monitor machine performance and can be used to measure the surface temperature of nozzles, extruder barrels, die heads and molds.

What's new? The sensors, which were formally released in January.

Benefits Ability to monitor tight areas and high temperatures. With its mineral-insulated, flexible stem design, the sensor can be installed in areas with limited clearance. Compared to some thermocouples, it can tolerate much higher temperatures — up to 1,832 degrees Fahrenheit.
