Sipa SpA, Vittorio Veneto, Italy, designed its latest blow molding line for small- and medium- scale production of PET containers with capacities from 15 to 30 liters.

SFL 1 XL Sipa SpA, Vittorio Veneto, Italy, designed its latest blow molding line for small- and medium- scale production of PET containers with capacities from 15 to 30 liters. The stretch and blowing phase uses a toggle blow molding machine with pneumatic compensation, while the axial stretching of the preforms is performed by a servo-drive stretching rod for a high level of repeatability. The blown bottle is evacuated from the mold using a linear-transfer system electronically synchronized to the blowing press movement.

What's new? The machine, which extends Sipa's offerings for the production of large PET containers.

Benefits Competitive running costs and the flexibility to produce a wide variety of containers with necks as large as 93mm in diameter.
