Amut Group's presence grows in Southeast Asia

    Amut Group, Novara, Italy, has announced it is setting up technical service centers in Vietnam and Indonesia. The company's efforts in the region are particularly focused on marketing its Amp 850 GP thermoforming machine, which was selected for use in two projects in Indonesia. The in-line, single-screw extruder can produce 96,000 cups an hour. It features a new screw design reducing the mechanical stress on the PP during the melting process.

    In addition to selling the Amp 850, Amut has finalized  two contracts in Vietnam — one for an Amp 630 thermoforming machine for the production of PP cups and the other for a VPK-C84 delivering PP and PET lids with diameters of 85mm and 95mm.
