Round tapered interlocks Choice Mold's interlocks are available in 1 degree, 3 degree, 5 degree and 10 degree tapered angles in sizes ranging from three-eighths inch to 2 inches. Designed to meet tight tolerances, the components are precision ground, machined and 100 percent inspected to ensure perfect mold cavity fit and alignment. The interlocks are crafted from Swedish 52100 bearing steel and heat treated to ensure wear resistance and longevity. They are appropriate for a number of industries, including end-of-arm tooling and injection molding. Prices for individual components range from $24 to $43.50. Parts can also be custom-ordered.
What's new? The interlocks, which are sized in U.S. measurements, were introduced as an alternative to imported parts. Unlike other interlocks, Choice Mold's line features multi-dimensional locking.
