Lisa printer Sinterit has upgraded its Lisa 3-D printer, which uses a laser to sinter layers of nylon powder, creating stronger products than those made with fused-deposition modeling or stereolithography, according to the Kraków, Poland company. Measuring 25.6 inches by 21.7 inches by 17.7 inches, the printer costs about $17,000 and is distributed in the U.S. by iMakr.
What's new? Multiple upgrades, including integration with Autodesk Netfabb software, a new sieve, increased automation, and the ability to print multiple jobs in the work space.
