Bolt Leapfrog's new dual-head 3-D printer has a maximum print volume of about 13 inches by 13 inches by 8 inches, when printing with just one extrusion head. With a hot end that facilitates resin temperatures up to 680 degrees Fahrenheit, the printer can handle a range of materials, including ABS and polylactic acid. Featuring replicator and mirror modes, the printer is suited to prototyping and can mirror or copy parts at the push of a button.
What's new? The printer, which will begin shipping later this month.
Benefits Versatility. Because it has two extrusion heads, the fully enclosed, aluminum-framework printer offers flexibility and printing stability. Plus, users can operate it from any device with a browser.
