Micro Dryer Dri-Air's compressed air Micro Dryers are designed for medical molding and feature stainless steel contact surfaces, making them suitable for applications that require FDA approval. The dryers' clear plastic hoppers are lined with Pyrex glass to prevent contamination. An annular groove at the base allows the uniform introduction of dry air into the hopper for thorough drying. What's new? The hopper size. In January, Dri-Air introduced 12-ounce and 32-ounce hoppers that are especially suited for expensive medical-grade resins and can be removed easily for cleaning. Previously, the dryers came with a 3-pound hopper.

Benefits Precise temperature control and small hopper size. The hoppers' attached heaters allow for temperature control from 80 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit without the need for cooling water or high-temperature process hoses. Hoppers can be mounted directly onto small extruders, micro molders and 3-D printers.
