Pneumatic presses add options

Wabash MPI and Carver Inc.’s PNP series now offers down-acting clamp configuration, vacuum chamber construction and 5-micron particulate air filters.

PNP pneumatic press Wabash MPI and Carver Inc.’s PNP pneumatic press series can be used for lab or production work for a wide range of applications, including molding rubber and composites, performing plastics testing and destructive testing, and preparing samples. The PNP presses are available in three standard sizes; 0.5-ton, 2-ton and 5-ton models, as well as table-top or floor-standing models. They have a maximum operating temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit, and come with standard platen sizes from 8 inches by 8 inches to 18 inches by 18 inches.    

What’s new? A series of new options, including down-acting clamp configuration, vacuum chamber construction for vacuum-assist applications, and 5-micron particulate air filters.
