Hot-runner manufacturer Oerlikon HRSflow announced plans to expand its Italian manufacturing plant to serve growing European markets. The company said it will begin construction of a new fully automated plant near its two existing plants in the city that hosts its European headquarters, San Polo di Piave, Italy.
The plant, which is designed to boost the company’s Italian output by more than 30 percent to meet rising demand in packaging, consumer goods and automotive sectors, is expected to start production by the end of this year.
Oerlikon Polymer Processing Solutions Division serves customers through its technology brands — Oerlikon Barmag, Oerlikon Neumag, Oerlikon Nonwoven and Oerlikon HRSflow — in around 120 countries with production, sales, distribution and service organizations.
