Bandera, which designs and manufactures blown film lines, film extrusion lines and pelletizing equipment, reported a “malicious hacking attempt” and cautioned customers to guard against fraudulent activities.
“Bandera does not maintain any foreign bank accounts. Furthermore, all existing accounts associated with our company are solely held under the name of Bandera. Therefore, any requests for payments or banking information purportedly from us should be thoroughly scrutinized,” the company said in a press release. “We urge you to exercise caution and refrain from making payments to any accounts that do not align with the aforementioned description.”
The company recommended that customers reach out to their designated contacts at Bandera to verify any communications, and said it was reinforcing its cybersecurity protocols.
